What is the reading level of the texts and other documents used in the courses?
At CIPM USA we understand that what gives books meaning and value is the reader’s interaction with them. Readers are influenced by a wide range of behaviors, tastes and experiences. Staffs at CIPM USA are aware of these differences and are consistently deepening their appreciation of the diversity that exists in students. Adult distance learning, self-study programs, such as ours at CIPM USA, help member students bring their experiential learning to their readings. We help all we can.
What self competencies should be strengthened in CIPM USA’s graduate level courses?
According to the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) recruiter survey, the competencies which need to be strengthened in MBA level graduate courses are:

- Ability to make decisions with imperfect information
- Interpersonal skills
- Oral communication
- Written communication
- Strategic thinking
- Adaptability
CIPM USA courses are geared to graduate level students but this does not mean the student must have prior undergraduate degrees or special preparatory courses. While students are alone in their studies, they are not without contact or help, if needed.
I am a slow learner but only because I have trouble budgeting my study time. Will you make allowances for me?
Yes. CIPM USA allows students to move at their own pace but within reason. If a student is having personal or employment distractions that do not allow for completing the course on a timely basis, an extension will be given to the student.
I am a fast learner. Am I penalized under this self-study program?
Absolutely not! CIPM USA courses are designed for students to move at their own pace. Rapid learners or those who have the extra time to devote to their course study, are encouraged to move as quickly as they can, so that they can take on another course and ultimately finish all 12 courses.
What is the student integrity statement?
Distance learning provides students with an opportunity to complete all 12 graduate level CIPM USA courses at their own pace. With that comes the responsibility to ensure the person completing each course is indeed the student who is enrolled, approved for admission, and completing the work.
All of CIPM USA students have an obligation to themselves and CIPM USA to display honesty and conscientiousness in completing each course. Any student who is found to have violated that obligation by plagiarizing or cheating in any way may be suspended or expelled from CIPM USA. CIPM USA students are expected to follow the high Code of Ethical Conduct of CIPM USA.
What grades are used in evaluating my work as a student in a CIPMUSA course?
CIPM USA uses High Pass, Pass, Low Pass, or Unsatisfactory
Does CIPM USA offer Employment Counseling or other similar services?
Members who complete the 12 courses offered by CIPM USA are eligible to assist members, if requested. Our efforts can consist of assistance with: Resume writing, Career Counseling, Executive Marketing, Interview Coaching, How to Manage Awkward Questions, etc.
Will CIPM USA verify my membership and achievements with CIPM USA courses?
Yes, students will be provided the means of achieving this at their request.
