Members are provided a password to enter the site where the recommended program is laid out for them to follow at their own pace.

By studying the CIPM USA program consisting of 12 core subjects, the serious student learns Analytical, Communication, and Quantitative skills which are usually only achieved by graduates of MBA or similar graduate business programs. (Although CIPM USA is NOT a graduate university, the courses are comparable in every way to those taught in the major universities for many thousands of dollars more). These objectives are reached as the serious student increases their awareness of the availability of research and other information available to them as managers, learned in the program. Students acquire these skills through understanding of concepts of operations management, especially the levels of capital cost, time value of money, cash flows, depreciation, the impacts of taxation, risk and return on investment and how to use these concepts in operations management decisions. Skills are also acquired through the understanding of the concepts of project management, risk management, work breakdown, dynamics of estimating, balancing the project and organizing the organization to succeed.

Your skills already possessed from work and experiential learning increase proportionately faster as the working adult student begins to implement the material being studied. Members should expect to see quantitative results in job improvement and satisfaction as more and other learning is achieved through self-study.

Theoretical knowledge gained from the self-study readings is not sufficient in itself to result in improvement in analytical communication or quantitative skills. Although it provides a qualified basis for growth, skills will only measurably improve when the theoretical knowledge is put to real life use in the workplace. CIPM USA believes our heavy reliance on following a guided reading path to knowledge sharpens these skills as the thought process must be matched up with the theoretical knowledge learned and shaped by any significant experiential knowledge resulting from years of employment.

These graduate school level courses are all self-study, distance learning courses, from the view of the General Manager, thus the text books recommended provide the original source of theoretical knowledge, augmented by supplemental course texts and additional reading assignments recommended, including review of relevant and key websites pertaining to the subject course.
